Lake Moultrie Passage, section 2

Between mile 22 and Eutaw Springs Passage

Traveling west, the trail turns right onto Viper Rd.  Temporarily, the trail will continue down Viper Rd, turning left onto SC 45.  The campsite will still be usable as marked on the map, but will only be accessible by a spur trail connecting to Viper Rd.  Cars can still be parked at the parking area, but no kiosk is currently present.  Plans are in the works for a new one to be built.

Lake Marion Passage, section 3

Between miles 22-25, at Pack’s Landing

Traveling northwest after Halfway Swamp at mile 22, the trail no longer will turn left from Old River Rd.  Instead, the trail will temporarily continue on Old River Rd north towards Rimini, turning left onto Pack’s Landing Rd.  Follow the road to Pack’s Landing, turning right across the parking lot, and follow the trail down the board walk and into the woods.  A more pleasing solution is being investigated.
