Join Palmetto Conservation Foundation as we celebrate the 2017 Southeastern Wildlife Exposition (SEWE) in Charleston!

This year, we welcome everyone to join us for a FREE Guided Hike along the Awendaw Passage of the Palmetto Trail! So, whether you’re from the Lowcountry, or just visiting for SEWE…join us to see the beautiful Awendaw Passage and learn more about what the Palmetto Trail has to offer!
Length: 4 miles

Difficulty: Easy

Trailhead: Meet at Rosa Green Road

Bring: Comfortable shoes, appropriate clothing, plenty of water, and lunch/snacks.

Stay Hydrated
Without enough water, your body simply can’t perform as well. If you feel thirsty, your body is already becoming dehydrated. It is hard to drink too much water when you’re physically exerting yourself. Carry plenty of water and remember your pack will get lighter as the day wears on.

The Trail is meant to bring people together—young and old, rich and poor. It’s not just for hard core backpackers, but for families who want to get out into the woods.
