The 20th Passage of the Palmetto Trail opened on June 7, National Trails Day at Croft State Natural Area. Ken Driggers of PCF, Park Manager John Moon, Rep. Lanny Littlejohn, and Trudy Boyles with Advance America did the honors.

SC State Parks: Who Knew?
Rising up out of the red clay and granite of the piedmont, apart from the Blue Wall of mountains to the northwest, sits Greenville’s mountain and the home of Paris Mountain State Park, a special part of Greenville's history. Paris Mountain SP is a place of state record trees, a unique naturally fed watershed, impressive vistas, cool babbling “sulfur” springs, four lakes, hiking and biking trails and special “monuments” to Greenville’s past.
