Wear the Right Clothes
Appropriate footwear, socks, and clothing, including rain gear, go a long way towards a comfortable and enjoyable trek. A bandana is great for mopping off sweat, and a good hat and sunscreen will keep you for getting burned, even on cloudy days. The weatherman is not always right, so come prepared for unexpected weather and dress in layers to adjust to temperatures changes.

Our mountains-to-sea Trail provides a catalyst for people all over the State of South Carolina to improve their health, while at the same time the Trail improves the economy of the state through tourism.
