Our December 8th  Ladies of the Palmetto Trail hike will take us to the Waterfalls of Oconee County with Master Naturalist Dan Whitten. A hike with Dan the Mountain Man never disappoints!

Length:   Approximately 4 miles

Difficulty: Intermediate /strenuous (very steep) Here is the description from Dan:  “Distances of hikes is short.  About 1/2 mile on Brasstown cluster and Sid’s Falls is about 1.5 one way or 3 out and back.  Both waterfalls have easy approaches but steep final approaches.  I do mean steep”

Trailhead: Meet at 10:15AM at Long Creek Fire Station on US 76 on Saturday Dec 8

Carpool from Cola:  TBD

Bring: Comfortable shoes, appropriate clothing, plenty of water, and lunch/snacks.
